I am not photogenic nor do I enjoy having my picture taken. So when it came to choosing a photographer for one of the most important events of my life, communication and my comfort level were key factors. Ashley understood these concerns from the get-go and while we accomplished the standard family portraits as dictated by tradition, it was quick and fun and we all looked far better than I ever would have imagined. She captured the spirit of the entire event, the open spaces of the countryside and the elegance of the tent we worked so hard on. Not just the happy couple, but the whole wedding party was enchanted by the way she caught the day on film and for the first time, I have a entire collection of pictures of myself I actually like!!!
